Product/Brand Management Manager leads the design and implementation of marketing activities to maximize sales of a brand. Researches customer preferences and evaluates product performance to develop effective product and brand positioning and strategies. Being a Product/Brand Management Manager coordinates workload and designates tasks or projects to a team of analysts. Partners with sales to ensure that customer targets and product messaging are effective. Additionally, Product/Brand Management Manager develops metrics used to conduct an ongoing analysis of the effectiveness and value of marketing programs. Utilizes metrics to collaborate with stakeholders to design, produce, and distribute effective marketing materials that reflect the brand and product identity. Acts as a source of knowledge for complex or unusual requests. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Product/Brand Management Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Responsible for the overall profitable management of the limited service hotel which may include room rental, and other service. Also responsible for marketing establishing community relations, record keeping, employee staffing and training, controlling inventory, maintaining the physical plant, as well as coping with the unexpected problems of guests, employees and hotel.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Coordinates and supervises the various departments to ensure an environment in which high standards of comfort, service and quality exists for our guests.
2. Maintains positive guest relations and presents an image through our employees which reflects the company's philosophy.
3. Utilizes company's procedures to properly forecast, budget and staff each operation department.
4. Maintains the physical plant in an attractive and economical manner in compliance with the Maintenance, Preventative Maintenance and Quality Assurance policies.
5. Ensures that all reports of revenue, expenses, business volume, personnel, payroll and assets are maintained to Company policies.
6. Ensures that all policies, procedures, federal and local laws are adhered to by all employees in regard to personnel, security, guest relations, safety, etc.
7. Maintains an adequate inventory of supplies
8. Ensures personnel development so that all subordinate personnel are receiving adequate training, development, motivation and performance review feedback.
9. Maintenance and housekeeping standards are to reflect a commitment to excellent product quality.
10. The General Manager shall ensure compliance with all company accounting and cash handling policies and practices, including, but not limited to:
A. Daily cash deposits.
B. Proper audit balances.
C. Purchasing procedures/limits.
REQUIREMENT:
1. Must have at least 3-5 years of management experience
2. Must have excellent communication skills: reading, writing, speaking
3. Successful sales and marketing experience
4. Demonstrate ability to train, motivate and lead staff
