The original Dickey’s Barbecue Pit opened in Dallas, Texas in 1941. Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is a fast-casual barbecue concept that is the largest in the nation. We were named #1 Brand by Fast Casual Brands and Restaurant News named us a Customer Favorite & Top 5 Growth Chains! We are taking the country by storm with our guest first mentality. All our meats are hand rubbed and smoked on-site daily. All our delicious home-style sides are family recipes passed down through generations and served to our wonderful guests every day!

We are looking for energetic and friendly neighbors to join our Pit Crew Management Team. Our goal is to ensure every guest has the best barbecue experience and we need your help. If, you like to work in a fast-paced fun environment with a bit of variety in tasks, this may be the job for you.

Shift Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage the Dickey's Standards
• Manage the Food; what you serve and inventory
• Manage the Folks; Pit Crew and Guests
• Deliver caterings
• Manage the Facilities; the dining room and kitchen
• Manage the POS; cash handling and sales building
• You will be Dickey's BBQ Certified

Dickey's Barbecue Pit is a true American success story. In 1941, Travis Dickey, a WWI veteran, opened the first Dickey's Barbecue Pit in Dallas, Texas. Dickey was a true Texas character blessed with the gift of gab and the love of authentic, slow smoked barbecue. In the beginning, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit was truly a family operation with Travis working the block and Miss Ollie Dickey serving sandwiches. Space on the restaurant sign was rented out to help pay the start up costs for the restaurant and the menu was limited to beef brisket, pit hams, barbecue beans, potato chips, beer, bottled milk and sodas.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
