Central Mechanical was established in 1984 and has been doing business in the western half of North Dakota since that time. We have offices in both Mandan and Dickinson with multiple positions available. We are willing to train the right person for both HVAC and plumbing work. We have great benefits and a great bunch of employees to work with. Our customers range from large commercial, industrial, institutional, or new construction residential.

Must have valid drivers license.

What You Will Do:

• As an Apprentice Plumber you will work under the direct supervision of a qualified Journeyman Plumber learning to assemble, install fittings, plumbing fixtures and appliances of heating systems.

• Learn to comprehend schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications to determine layout and work aids required

• Measure, cut, thread and assemble new pipe by use of bolts, fittings, solder, solvent or caulking.

• Locates, marks, cuts or drill holes in walls or floors to accommodate the passage of pipe.

• Perform rough-ins, replacing water heaters, boilers, pumps and hydronic specialties

• Fitting or assist in fitting valves, couplings, or assemblies to tanks, pumps or systems, using hand tools. • Adhere to safety procedures and company safety policy, including wearing uniform and appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, operation company vehicle and equipment.

• Climb ladders, scaffolding and use lifts to perform work duties.

• Work as a team with safety orientated goals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $27.50 per hour
