We are seeking a Coumadin Coordinator/Medical Assistant to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
The Coumadin Coordinator is responsible for guiding all patients of the practice who are currently on Warfarin/Coumadin. Position is responsible for keeping the INRs of all patients within their appropriate range, using the INR ranges and protocols set by the physicians. The Coumadin Coordinator collects INR test results for each patient using local lab results, home monitor results and in office INR checks. Then documents INRs, dosing instructions, and patient feedback into the patient chart. In addition:
