Job Description
Primary responsibilities of this position include coordination, scheduling and facilitation for parish weekday and weekend Masses, funerals, baptisms, weddings, and other liturgies (English and Spanish).
Successful coordination includes facilitating the liturgy committee, recruiting and training liturgical ministry volunteers, assisting the priest in preparation for baptisms, planning of weddings, funerals, and other special or seasonal liturgies.
This position ensures necessary communications and coordination with other parish ministry areas (, faith formation and sacramental preparation, etc.
ensuring families and individuals are appropriately accompanied and prepared for liturgical and sacramental events.
Required skills include knowledge of Catholic liturgy and sacramental life, fluent in Spanish and English, pastoral care presence and empathy, training and formation for liturgical ministry volunteers.
