    The Senior Program Manager role is part of the Lam Research Global Operations group with responsibilities to lead and manage the advancement of quality programs across multiple business units using technical, project management, and influencing skills to achieve results. You will be an integral role in strengthening partnerships across multiple business units.

    This role requires a passion for leading cross functional global teams through problem solving, solution generation and execution or implementation of solutions, by:

    • Breaking down silos to unify business groups across the globe, through negotiating change to improve a business process.
    • Navigating in unclear and ambiguous process ownership.
    • Addressing problem(s) that are out of you direct sphere of ownership.

    Lam Research’s Global Operations (GOps) consists of multiple business units supporting Order Fulfillment, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Logistics teams.  This role will work primarily with internal Global Operations stakeholders and may require engagement with stakeholders such as product engineering, field operations, and Corporate Quality.

    What You’ll Do

    Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

    • Expand cross functional teams' understanding of how a business process impacts the delivery of a quality product.
    • Use data to evaluate program performance, identify program strengths and areas of opportunity.
    • Lead discussions with executive stakeholders, senior leaders, and subject matter experts, to develop strategies that achieve program objectives.
    • Create and coordinate the execution of project plans and programs to achieve aligned objectives.
    • Effectively communicate program status, goals and recommend any necessary adjustments.
    • Manage the needs of Corporate Quality, Product Engineering, and Global Operations to drive systemic quality and business process improvements.

    Who We’re Looking For

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or relevant field. MBA or master’s preferred but not required.
    • Fifteen (15) years of experience in operations, quality, or continuous improvement activities managing projects of various complexities.
    • Demonstrated ability to project plan and lead global cross functional teams from all levels of the organization.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence and message complex content in front of peers and executives.
    • Strategic thinker, proven leader, and ability to positively influence stakeholders and team members without direct line authority.
    • Strong knowledge of operational processes, data, tools, and improvement initiatives that are focused on business process reengineering in fast growth companies.
    • Experience leading projects with Lean/Six Sigma and problem-solving methodology in a heavily matrixed work environment.
    • Certified in Lean Six Sigma.
