Nursing Education Coordinator jobs in New Hampshire
Nursing Education Coordinator designs and conducts educational programs for nursing staff. Coordinates orientation programs for new staff members, develops programs to keep existing staff up-to-date, and acts as general resource for nursing personnel. Being a Nursing Education Coordinator evaluates the program results and competencies of nursing staff. Typically requires a bachelor's degree of nursing. Additionally, Nursing Education Coordinator typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires RN license. The Nursing Education Coordinator contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Duties and Responsibilities :
- Initiating care plans and supporting activities as assigned
- Creating and distributing monthly care plan calendars in a timely fashion
- Maintaining & updating all care plans and assessments as required
- Monitoring & auditing clinical records, ensuring accuracy & timeliness
- Informing DON of persistent issues related to non-compliant documentation
- Protecting the confidentiality of Resident & Facility information at all times
Requirements :
- Valid RN License
- MUST HAVE PRIOR MDS EXPERIENCE
- Long Term Care Experience Required
- Must be highly organized, professional & motivated
- Should have solid computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Should be friendly and a team worker
Experience :
- MDS : 2 years (Required)
