Nurse Practitioner - Cardiac works in collaboration with hospital physicians to manage care for patients in a cardiac unit. Orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians. Being a Nurse Practitioner - Cardiac prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Makes patient rounds. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner - Cardiac requires a master's degree. Requires Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). Requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Nurse Practitioner - Cardiac's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. The hourly range for this position is $56 - $57 / hour.

The Advanced Practice Provider reports directly to the Director of Clinical Practice and/or the Area Clinical Practice Manager. The Advanced Practice Provider collaborates on-site with the Center Leadership Team for center specific goals and priorities. The Advanced Practice Provider collaborates with the Medical Director and/or Attending Physician for patient specific medical care.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Advanced Practice Provider provides primary and urgent care services to nursing center residents in collaboration with the other medical providers in the center.
