    PROJECT MANAGER

The Operations team ensures our customers experience efficient and seamless delivery of equipment, service, and consumables. As a Project Manager, you are responsible for the successful delivery of work from the kickoff to the final deliverable. You are a force that helps keep the troops organized and supported. You remain both informed and informative. You are at home in the details and prefer having data to support your actions. You may not know the answer to every question, but you are determined to find it. You keep track of each task, milestone, and project to ensure they maintain progress. You are a champion of process, but flexible in its application. You are diligent about quality assurance. In short, you seek to create an environment for teams to deliver excellent work.

AS A PROJECT MANAGER, A TYPICAL WEEK MIGHT LOOK SOMETHING LIKE THIS:

    • Take ownership and manage a variety of work; small, medium and large in size. This includes detailed data management through Salesforce and Head-Up collaboration with leadership, sales, operations and customers.
    • Draft project plans & schedules for large projects. Collaborate with a subject matter expert to create the requirements.
    • Ensure every size project is complete; a plan for all projects before execution and communication is clear between the technician team and the customer. Ensure that all stakeholders are present and fully informed.
    • Serve as a primary point of contact and communication between the SBP internal team and our valued customers.
    • Develop and manage timelines for multiple concurrent projects, including assigning milestones and tasks within a new process system using Salesforce.
    • Confirm that a customer deliverable has passed through the appropriate internal QA process before it is delivered to the client.
    • Facilitate internal team discussions and meetings to maintain clarity for all participants and mitigate any risks to project success.
    • Schedule and facilitate a large project status customer call. You’ll keep everyone on schedule, take note of key updates and potential project roadblocks, and ensure that immediate next steps are identified and assigned.
    • Navigate a fire on an active project of any size. The wrong part was ordered causing the installation to be delayed, and the customer needs to be informed of how we’re going to resolve the issue quickly.
    • Monitor project budgets and expenses and provide forecast projections.

THIS JOB MIGHT BE RIGHT FOR YOU IF:

    • You can ensure smooth communication and documentation of scope, cost and schedule for projects of various sizes and multiple projects concurrently.
    • You are organized, prompt, and responsible. You enjoy managing information and keeping everyone on the same page.
    • You don’t shy away from conflict, and you actively seek clarity. You are always willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
    • You are curious by nature, adaptable, and thoughtful. You focus on solutions, not problems, and never point fingers.
    • You are an anchor of reality, practical, and encouraging. You are highly collaborative but also work well independently.
    • You are tenacious, motivated, and driven. You take ownership of the time you spend with us and truly make a difference. You’re eager to take the next step.
    • You embrace the influence you have over the work. You remain transparent, aware, accountable, and consistent while expecting the same from your teammates.

TO LAND THIS GIG YOU NEED:

    • The ability to effectively maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Proven success in identifying creative solutions to complex problems and managing multiple priorities.
    • Knowledge of, or desire to learn more about, construction project management strategies, concepts, and tactics.
    • Experience creating and delivering customer-facing project progress and status reports.
    • Familiarity with navigating and utilizing Salesforce.
    • At least 2 years in a project manager role in a services industry environment.
    • Construction project management experience is a plus.
    • PMI Certified is a plus.
