    We are currently looking to add a New Center Project Manager to the QubicaAMF team at our Mechanicsville location. The New Center Project Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of new center construction projects. Occasionally must engage outside of office hours when events occur at job sites.

    Essential Functions

    • Acts as main point of contact for all new center construction and communicates information effectively to throughout the project.
    • Works closely with the New Business Development sales team from planning to completion to ensure a customer experience.
    • Manages and maintains schedules for production, shipment, installation, and training for several projects simultaneously. 
    • Coordinates with the Project Engineer to provide drawings, layouts, and technical specifications for all projects.
    • Review orders for accuracy and pricing. Creates processes and changes orders as needed. Manages and maintains multiple orders for each project. 
    • Communicates frequently with the installation crew before and during the installation of the equipment.
    • Reacts quickly to any issues, finding a solution and communicating to all stakeholders.
    • Maintains all documentation related to the project. Identifies and completes any additional documentation Sub-Contract Agreements.
    • Travels to site meetings with clients, architects, and general contractors to discuss issues and inspect the site.
    • Search for and sub-contract outside vendors, such as electrical contractors, acoustical suppliers, and other manufacturers based on project-specific needs.
    • Works closely with product management to identify New Center customer product needs and solutions.
    • Other duties assigned by management.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    The position will not have direct reports.

    Travel required

    • Limited travel is required, 3-4 times annually. 

    Required education and experience

    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree or equivalent combination of education and training in Operations, Business, or Project Management.
    • AutoCAD and Construction experience a plus.
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
    • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
    • Ability to interpret technical instruction in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
