Network Engineer develops and deploys plans and designs of network systems that will meet an organization's requirements for performance, security, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Conducts network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies. Being a Network Engineer defines monitoring, maintenance, expansion, contingency, and recovery plans and strategies to ensure the network is responsive to changes in demand. Troubleshoots network issues and develops appropriate solutions, resources, and deployment processes. Additionally, Network Engineer keeps informed of the latest technologies to enhance knowledge of networking hardware, software, and best practices. May be certified in vendor-specific products. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Network Engineer work is closely managed. Job Responsibilities: Provide support and maintenance of the UAT and Production environments. Monitor and maintain the current GCP Pods configuration in all markets for better Ordering flow. Ensure configuration changes in GCP Clusters verify PODs are scaled up/down, perform IP address whitelisting and monitoring SRE alerts as requested. Configure and maintain F5 LTM, ASM Load balancers such as configuring/monitoring virtual servers, proles, nodes, pool members, manage SSL certificates for continuous traffic flow within the environment. Support the production and test environments for domestic and international business system specific to system setup, operating system installs, configuration, deployment, testing, troubleshooting and verification. Sync/maintain production database tables and run Oracle DB queries for any patches/issues to get necessary output. Automate application installation, updates, server patching and restarts. Basic Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Networking, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or a closely related field plus 6 months’ experience in network engineering OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Networking, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or a closely related field plus 5 years’ experience in network engineering. Experience must include 6 months in each of the following: Putty; Splunk; Wireshark; Infoblox DNS; Linux/Windows servers; Routing & switching; and Network security.
