Network Control Technician monitors performance and performs maintenance processes to ensure network systems operate at required levels of speed and reliability. Identifies and troubleshoots network issues and follows procedures to resolve problems. Being a Network Control Technician documents network issues and configuration changes as soon as they occur. May perform upgrades, preventative maintenance, or equipment installation. Additionally, Network Control Technician follows standard operating procedures to notify users of outages or changes to network status. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Network Control Technician work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Our technicians work primarily on commercial and industrial jobsites. From interpreting blueprints to installing voice, data, networking, and security equipment, our low voltage teams are prepared to get the job done efficiently and correctly. Candidates seeking consideration for this role should be experienced in the installation of CCTV cameras and access control devices (card readers, maglocks, door strikes, etc.).

Low Voltage Technician Responsibilities:
· Pull, terminate, dress, label, and test CAT5E and CAT6 cabling, experience with fiber optic cabling
· Work from ladders and various types of lifts
· Maintain cabling, equipment, and devices in IDF/MDF closets and server rooms
· Comfortability working independently and with a crew
