Network Control Center Supervisor supervises network control technicians in the daily activities of a network service function to ensure efficient, reliable, and secure operations that meet users' needs. Oversees routine testing, configuration changes, or network hardware or software upgrades. Being a Network Control Center Supervisor ensures network traffic and performance monitoring processes are running to identify and troubleshoot any issues. Responds to incidents using standard incident management processes, including root cause analysis (RCA) of any issues to identify and deploy corrective actions. Additionally, Network Control Center Supervisor coordinates with vendors and service providers to ensure required service and quality levels are delivered. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Network Control Center Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Network Control Center Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Position

    We are seeking a Service Supervisor to manage our team of remote MFP (Multi-function printer) helpdesk technicians at our office in Beaverton, OR.

    Primary Objectives/Scope: Supervise assigned technicians that remotely troubleshoot and diagnose our customer’s network connectivity with multi-functional devices such as copiers and scanners.

    Essential Job Duties

    • Routinely demonstrates and creates a helpful and positive work culture

    • Conducts self at all times as the public image of the company in accordance with the companies Code of Conduct
    • Meet or exceed team productivity goals on a number of measurements including gross calls per day, incomplete calls, call back rate, efficiency rating, EU rating, daily time detail, and average call duration
    • Meet and exceed department profitability goals
    • Maintain technical knowledge on all products
    • Interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees

    Qualifications

    • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written; strong customer service skills
    • Networking experience required
    • Strong relationship management skills with customers, vendors and employees within the company required
    • Exceptional mechanical aptitude and demonstrated skills required; and proven troubleshooting skills handling digital office equipment
    • Effective organizational skills with the ability to use good judgment in performing conflicting demands and managing priorities
    • Demonstrates initiative with the ability to seek out relevant information prior to making timely decisions
    • Must have strong ethics and work as an effective, collaborative team member
    • Call center experience a plus
