Network Control Center Supervisor supervises network control technicians in the daily activities of a network service function to ensure efficient, reliable, and secure operations that meet users' needs. Oversees routine testing, configuration changes, or network hardware or software upgrades. Being a Network Control Center Supervisor ensures network traffic and performance monitoring processes are running to identify and troubleshoot any issues. Responds to incidents using standard incident management processes, including root cause analysis (RCA) of any issues to identify and deploy corrective actions. Additionally, Network Control Center Supervisor coordinates with vendors and service providers to ensure required service and quality levels are delivered. Requires a bachelor's degree. We are seeking a skilled Cable Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Category 6 and fiber optic cabling installation, good mechanical skills, and experience working in jobs sites with other trades present.
If you have network cabling, audio visual, paging, electrical or other low voltage system installation experience, this position may be perfect for you.
Responsibilities:
- Perform work safely!
- Install Category 6, fiber optic and access control cabling in commercial environments
- Install cable tray, firestop and paging system components
- Troubleshoot and resolve cable connectivity issues
- Provide excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working on ladders, with hand tools in commercial or residential construction or related services
- Ability to use hand tools effectively
- Ability to work on ladders for extended periods
- Pass physical, background check and drug screen upon offer
- Ability to read color coding on cable pairs
- Punctuality
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Category 6 and/or fiber optic cable installation
- Operation of Fluke cable certifiers
- Manlift operation including license
- Knowledge of proper firestop installation
- Fusion splicing
