Merchandise Planner jobs in Arizona
Merchandise Planner plans and forecasts for future merchandise buys based on historical buys, reoccurring buys and current inventory levels. Responsible for reviewing stock to sales ratios, responding to changing sales trends, and ensuring plan sales, plan markups, and plan markdowns are achieved by departments. Being a Merchandise Planner plans and coordinates merchandise flow-through. Inputs and maintains data in various merchandising systems. Additionally, Merchandise Planner may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Merchandise Planner gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. The Planner is responsible for planning and scheduling the procurement and delivery of materials to support maintenance activities in MAXIMO. This includes working with maintenance engineers and technicians to develop detailed material requirements, generating purchase orders, and tracking the delivery of materials to ensure that maintenance work is completed on time and within budget.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Use MAXIMO to develop and manage material requirements for maintenance work orders
Generate purchase orders for materials based on material requirements
Track the status of purchase orders and ensure that materials are delivered on time and within budget
Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best possible pricing and delivery terms
Manage inventory levels to ensure that there is a sufficient supply of materials on hand to support maintenance activities
Work with maintenance engineers and technicians to resolve any material shortages or delays
Stay up-to-date on the latest maintenance technologies and materials
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or proven work experience in a related field (e.g., engineering, supply chain management, business administration)
Experience in a material planning or purchasing role
Strong proficiency in MAXIMO
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Skills And Experience
Experience with MAXIMO or other maintenance software systems (e.g., SAP PM, Oracle EAM)
Experience with procurement best practices and sourcing strategies
