We are seeking a driven Procurement Specialist to join our team and play a vital role in managing our supplier relationships and optimizing our purchasing processes.

What you'll do:

• Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, parts, supplies, and equipment by company policies and procedures.
• Secure the best possible pricing, delivery terms, and quality from our suppliers.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Track shipments and proactively address any potential delays.
• Act as a liaison between internal departments and suppliers, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
• Manage purchase orders from creation to completion, including follow-up, expediting, and recordkeeping.
• Foster and maintain positive relationships with vendors to ensure long-term partnerships.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.
• Utilize MS Office Suite effectively, with strong proficiency in Excel for data analysis and recordkeeping.

What you'll bring:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
• Strong understanding of purchasing principles and best practices.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a proven ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to work independently with strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.50 - $28.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
