Key Responsibilities:
Data Entry Expertise: Take charge of our inventory database with finesse. Skillfully input, update, and manage product details, pricing, and stock levels accurately.
Purchase Order Management: Collaborate closely with the buying team to generate and process purchase orders for bikes, ski equipment, and accessories. Liaise with suppliers to confirm order specifics, track shipments, and ensure prompt delivery.
Inventory Oversight: Utilize your data prowess to monitor inventory levels and product performance. Analyze sales trends, identify popular items, and suggest optimal restocking quantities to meet demand.
Vendor Relations: Act as a primary contact for vendor communications, addressing inquiries and maintaining positive relationships. Keep vendors informed of order statuses, resolve discrepancies, and uphold smooth transaction processes.
Price and Cost Analysis: Support the buying team by conducting thorough price and cost analyses for potential products and existing inventory. Contribute insights on pricing strategies to enhance profitability and competitiveness.
Assortment Planning: Assist in crafting product assortments tailored to customer preferences, market trends, and seasonal fluctuations. Provide input on product selection and assortment optimization to achieve sales targets.
Administrative Assistance: Offer general administrative support to the buying team, including organizing paperwork, filing documents, and scheduling meetings and appointments as required.
