The American Medical Billing Association (AMBA) is dedicated to providing resources, education, knowledge, and tools for professional billers and billing company owners. With a focus on professional growth and development, we offer a wide range of critical resources, including professional credentials, educational webinars, and networking opportunities. Our association supports both new and experienced billers by providing education, ongoing training, and certification programs. We also collaborate with technical schools, colleges, and universities across the nation to offer medical billing training programs.

Most of our work is done online and through the phone. There is not any face-to-face contact with anyone besides co-workers, postal workers, and the occasional solicitor.

Requirements to Apply:

• Knowledge of the medical billing and coding industry is preferred.
• You must have good computer skills and not be intimidated by learning new processes on the computer.
• MS Office (preferred) - You need to know your way around Excel, Word, and PPT.
• Adobe (preferred) - Acrobat is a must. You will be saving word .docxs as .pdfs, editing PDFs, and exporting PDFs into word docs and images.
• Experience using Gmail is preferred.
• Confidence and the ability to handle customer service situations. Our success has been built through our well-known excellent customer service. Empathy for our customers is important to us.
• The more education that you have under your belt, the better. Healthcare IT, Business, Computer, and Customer Service are most important in this job.
• Experience working in the healthcare industry is a plus.
• You will be handling day-to-day orders and will be interacting with customers via phone, email, LiveChat, and web conferencing software.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
