Member Certification Manager manages the certification and credentialing programs of a professional or membership organization. Oversees the development of standards and testing materials. Being a Member Certification Manager develops testing schedules and resource requirements to deliver testing. Collaborates with curriculum designers and instructors to ensure materials present certification requirements accurately and are validated in the certification processes. Additionally, Member Certification Manager develops quality processes to ensure the testing and validation processes accurately measure certification requirements. Optimizes the certification process to ensure members are satisfied and resolves any problems related to the process. May evaluate, select, and monitor outside testing providers to ensure testing quality. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Application & Certification Manager will be responsible for overseeing the installation of electrical, performance, and audio pontoon systems. Ensuring governing compliance with the ABYC, NMMA, and Cost Guard regulations, the Application & Certification Manager will also oversee testing and materials used during the manufacturing process. Acting as a field support point of contact, this role will provide exceptional customer support troubleshooting issues within various pontoon systems and wiring diagrams, as well as providing detailed explanations of the possibilities and limitations of what is possible within the pontoon boat, as well as step-by-step instructions to our customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Responsible for overseeing subject matter experts in the pontoon systems such as electrical, performance, and audio
Oversee the installation of electrical, performance, and audio systems
Oversee the governing compliance of the ABYC, NMMA, and ensure Coast Guard compliance
Ensure governing compliance with testing, and materials used during the manufacturing process
Provide exceptional customer support regarding troubleshooting issues within various systems and wiring diagrams.
Act as a field support point of contact and explain in detail the possibilities and limitations of what is possible in a boat, as well as providing step-by-step instructions to customers.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field desired
2 years of direct leadership experience preferred or an experienced and proven leader who has the demonstrated ability to lead effective teams
Demonstrated leadership ability to set goals, delegate and motivate team to achieve those goals
Excellent leadership skill in motivating, training, and developing individuals and teams.
Excellent written & verbal communication within team and cross-functionally
