The Account Receivable Recovery Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely collection of outstanding insurance balances. You will assist the company manage insurance claims and payments. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of medical billing practices and insurance policies.
Qualifications:
All potential candidates must have strong communication, organizational and analytical skills. Working knowledge and experience in analyzing medical claims. Strong knowledge of EMR software, medical billing applications, CPT codes, ICD-10, and insurance web portals and OON experience. Experience in writing and submitting claim appeals with insurance companies including OON appeals.
Responsibilities:
? Manage claim submission process end-to-end through submission, response,
and final payment
? Understand and communicate insurance billing & patient responsibility (in/out of
network, deductibles, copays, co-insurance, out of pocket max) internally and to
clients
? Denial Management
? Prepare and submit claim appeals with insurance companies
? Follow-up with payers to ensure timely resolution of all outstanding claims, via
phone, emails, fax, or websites
? Perform special projects and other duties as needed. Assists with special
projects by utilizing excel spreadsheets, and the ability to communicate results
Schedule:
? 8-hour day shift
? Monday to Friday
