QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's degree from a recognized, accredited college or university.
2. Minimum of five (5) years of successful experience in working with geographical information systems, student enrollment projections, and student demographic data.
3. Skilled in strategic thinking related to planning for growth and development.
4. Ability to provide student enrollment projections and prepare accurate reports.
5. Ability to formally train and present information and proposals to large audiences.
6. Ability to collect, organize, analyze and interpret student assignment information.
7. Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
8. Strong attention to detail.
9. Proficiency required in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows operating systems.
10. Effective ability to work on multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality is essential.
11. Valid Texas driver's license with acceptable driving record.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Annual Contract: 250 days

SALARY:

$76,290 (BA 5)

Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

1. Propose and maintain school attendance boundaries.
2. Develop campus and district enrollment projections used in budgeting, redistricting, facilities planning, and staffing.
3. Provide a comprehensive demographic analysis and coordinate with retained demographic and planning consultants.
4. Provide training to identified staff on demographic and geographical coding and reporting.
5. Update, maintain, and process data in the Geographical Information System (GlS).
6. Provide support for the transportation system integration with the GlS.
7. Utilize district vehicles to survey new residential developments.
8. Facilitate group discussions, make presentations, and prepare reports related to boundaries, projections, transfers, and long-range planning.
9. Work with various departments and stakeholders within the school district, as well as external agencies and organizations.
10. Responsible for assigning and compiling PEIMS census block coding.
11. Maintain surplus property files.
12. Provide data information reports to administrative departments and campuses.
13. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of General Administration.
14. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.
