Maternity Services Director is responsible for the maternity unit and all sub-unit operations and staffing. Coordinates activities related to labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and the baby nursery. Being a Maternity Services Director manages the departments operating budget and measures performance using standards established by the hospital. May direct community outreach programs to deliver women's health information and education. Additionally, Maternity Services Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. Requires registered nurse (RN). Basic Functions:
Performs maintenance and janitorial duties to maintain school buildings. Be able to carry or life over 40lbs, use basic maintenance and janitorial tools, open to additional trainings if needed, and work with others in a school setting.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
1. *Sweeps, dusts, mops, and vacuums floors using equipment such as brooms, mops, vacuum, buffer, and shampooer.
2. *Removes trash from offices, classrooms, and all work areas.
3. *Thoroughly cleans all areas assigned in the buildings including school bathrooms, classrooms, and hallways/common areas, and playground.
4. *Replenishes soap, towels, tissue containers, and performs related tasks prior to leaving.
5. *Assists in the set up/take down for events.
6. Assists in completing minor repairs in designated buildings.
7. May assist in paint interior of designated buildings.
8. *Is responsible for snow removal on weekdays and other times when necessary.
9. May be given various other assignments and projects consistent with the responsibility level and general duties as noted above.
10. Routine cleaning and monitoring of boiler, fire pump, fire system, and water pump
Requirements and Preferences:
Education Preferred: High school graduate, GED or equivalent.
Experience Preferred: Five years of experience in maintenance or a related area.
Skills Required: Knowledgeable in the procedures and safety measures of facilities and grounds maintenance.
Skills Preferred: Bilingual (Spanish)
Other Required: Valid Driver’s License.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
