    What You Will Do:

    • Fabricate, assemble, and test prototypes, aid in finalization of designs under the direction of an engineer or manager.
    • May prepare detailed estimates of quantities and costs of materials and labor required.
    • Interact regularly with customers and co-workers.
    • Maintain records for company and customer.
    • Follow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements.
    • Read and follow written and/or verbal directions and use a computer to communicate, create, and access information.

    Minimum Required Qualifications:

    • This safety-sensitive role may be subject to employer or customer drug testing
    • High School education or equivalent
    • One year experience with the following:
      • Performing mechanical assembly work
      • Operating a manual lathe/mill
      • Welding (TIG, GMAW, and SMAW)
      • Single and 3 phase electrical work
    • Ability to interpret machine drawings and electrical schematics
    • Working knowledge of hand & power tools, overhead crane
    • Speak, read, and write English fluently.
    • Must be willing to work overtime and Saturdays as required
    • Immigration sponsorship not offered for this role

    Physical Demands and Job Conditions

    • Potential travel: up to 20% (domestically and internationally)
    • Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
    • Requires Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hardhats hearing protection and respirators.
    • May stand, walk, stoop, sit, bend, twist, grasp, lift, climb,
    • Requires visual and hearing acuity
    • Activities occur indoors and outdoors.
    • Extreme heat: Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour.Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity.
    • Hazards: Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current or exposure to chemicals.
    • Atmospheric conditions: One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system or the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
    • Oils: There is air and/or skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids.
