    Supervisor: Manger Mailing Services

    Position Purpose: Assist mailroom with customer service counter distribution of packages, mail/ship for customers, sort incoming mail and packages, make campus mail deliveries.

    Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Customer Service: Assists at the customer service counter to address inquiries, including processing mail and shipping requests efficiently and kindly.
    • Mail Processing and Deliveries: Handles incoming mail packages, ensuring they are accurately sorted and logged. Conducts regular delivery of mail and packages to various departments across campus, ensuring items are delivered promptly. Follow safety and security procedures for handling mail and packages.

    Qualifications:

    • Ability to lift moderately heavy items (up to 50 lbs.), and stand, bend and stoop for extended periods of time.
    • Must be safety conscious, able to read, write and understand written and verbal instructions and work with a diverse group of staff and students.
    • Ability to read, write and understand written and verbal instructions.

    Compensation

    The rate for this position is $15.00 per hour. Except for roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The stated hiring rate/range represents the College’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate/range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
