Monitors timelines and work progress to ensure work is completed on time. Being a Litigation Manager conducts new hire and ongoing training sessions. Requires a thorough knowledge of the organization's products/services. Additionally, Litigation Manager requires a bachelor's/master's degree. Typically reports to the top legal executive/general counsel. The Litigation Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. This role is perfect for the paralegal looking to take their trial and hot seat experience to support Benesch's litigation group.
The Litigation Support Manager works with Benesch attorneys and staff to provide litigation support and services related to Electronic Discovery. This person is also responsible for evaluating and maintaining vendor relationships, monitoring IT trends, recommending new litigation technology, and developing/implementing policies and procedures of the Litigation Support Department.

Due to the nature of your employment, various documents and information, which are of confidential nature, will come into your possession. Such documents and information must be kept confidential at all times.
The Litigation Support Manager must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a focus in computer science or related field is a plus. Minimum 7 to 10 years of litigation support experience is required, including 5 years in a law firm environment. Excellent writing, documentation and verbal communication skills required. Strong proficiency with at least two industry-standard eDiscovery platforms, as Everlaw or Relativity, is required. The role requires exceptional problem-solving capabilities, attention to detail, and a disciplined approach to quality control
In depth understanding of the EDRM model and familiarity with the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure preferred. Experience as "hot seat" operator and experience with vendor management preferred. Skills that are not required but could be beneficial include proficiency in MS Excel, Opus 2, CaseMap/TextMap, ReadySuite, PageVault, OnCue. computer forensics, IT systems administration, computer programming, SQL database management, advanced, and data science.
