Duties:
- Conduct land surveys and measurements using various surveying equipment and tools.
- Set up and operate surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS receivers, and levels.
- Collect and analyze data to create accurate maps, charts, and reports.
- Use GIS (Geographic Information System) software to input, organize, and analyze survey data.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects.
- Provide guidance and support to junior surveyors and field crews.
- Maintain surveying equipment and ensure its proper functioning.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working in the field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Party Chief or similar role.
- Proficiency in using surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS receivers, and levels.
- Strong knowledge of land surveying principles, techniques, and procedures.
- Experience with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS) for data analysis and mapping.
- Ability to interpret engineering plans, blueprints, and legal descriptions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
Note: Experience with robotics or data analysis skills are a plus.
