As the Administrative Assistant you will report to the Group Leader and will assist the First Line Managers, Professional Staff Assistant (PSA), and staff.
You will perform basic administrative, office-related functions and activities in support of Production Agency Quality (PAQ) goals and objectives.
PAQ has groups located at various technical sites at LANL, therefore, you will be supporting staff at different geographical areas.

What You Need Minimum Requirements Administration : Advanced knowledge and experience conducting general office management duties in a busy, fast-paced office environment while maintaining confidentiality and discretion on certain matters.
Communication : Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills, including proofreading, grammar, spelling, punctuation, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Organization and Time Management : Demonstrated ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and follow-through to completion on multiple tasks, often under strict deadlines, frequent interruptions, and changing priorities.
Experience working with sensitive, personnel related information. Demonstrated record of dependability, availability, and punctuality.
Customer Service : Demonstrated ability to respond to customer requests and provide timely responses while delivering professional service.
Education : Position requires a High School Diploma and 3 years related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation. Desired Qualifications
Advanced knowledge and experience of Lab-wide administrative systems (e.g., Oracle Time and Labor, Concur, iProcurement, Utrain) and computer software applications (e.
g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Webex, G Suite).
Familiarity with Laboratory organizational structure, administrative polices and procedures. Active DOE Q Clearance Work Location : The work location for this position is onsite and located in Los Alamos, NM.
