IT Vendor Relationship Manager manages the organization's strategic technology vendor management program to meet company needs and comply with required quality standards. Assists with selecting the company's product and service providers and tracks the procurement of IT products and services to monitor and maintain operational costs and budgets. Being an IT Vendor Relationship Manager leads request for proposals (RFP) process to vet the reputation and quality of vendor products. Negotiates service level agreements to ensure performance/quality metrics, responsibilities, expectations, and penalties are clearly defined. Additionally, IT Vendor Relationship Manager works closely with internal teams to monitor, maintain, and improve existing vendor relationships. Conducts regular business reviews to ensure compliance with company expectations, review issues, and develop solutions. May require experience with software licensing and hardware procurement. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The IT Vendor Relationship Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. As our Vendor Relationship Manager, you play a pivotal role in analysing global voice and data accounts, managing the IT supplier base & financial budgets for hardware/software support contracts, procurement of IT goods & associated services to ensure the requirements of the business are met in cost effective manner in line with forecasts.
As a Vendor Relationship Manager, you will work collaboratively with all areas of IT and you will be involved in the management of financial forecasts and the procurement of IT goods and services in line with budgets, service and billing reconciliation, providing MI reports on performance, delivering continued service improvements and reducing associated risks.
In your role, you will engage, direct, and influence a range of stakeholders on the key deliverables, whilst working closely with our wider finance, accounting and technical teams and individuals to track costs. You will have the support and tools that you need to succeed and grow in a truly global Enterprise environment.
