The IT Systems Senior Analyst supports large, complex information technology programs in meeting their mission objectives and program goals in a fast-paced and dynamic environment on a high-performing team. The candidate supports Homeland Security clients in technical requirements, IT support, data reporting and analysis, and improving systems and processes to meet mission needs. They have 10 years of relevant IT and data analysis experience.

Arc Aspicio is currently operating in a hybrid work environment where work will be performed at client sites, the Arc Aspicio DC office, and remotely. All candidates must live in the Washington, DC area at time of employment.

Responsibilities:   

• Collaborating with Homeland Security stakeholders within an engineering support team to analyze their needs and support a range of services
• Support Government internal projects to implement Engineering and Information Technology initiatives
• Provide IT support in a cloud-based environment, with a focus on enterprise architecture
• Define and assist gathering business and technical requirements to address Governmental, policy, third-party, and stakeholder changes and requests
• Develop a strong understanding of mission goals, business processes, and functional and operational requirements
• Monitor and track compliance requirements
• Conduct user acceptance testing for the client
• Provide IT-based analysis on government policies
• Utilize data reporting products and ad hoc data requests to meet requirements and client information needs
• Support Agile development oversight, software design, documentation, testing, and maintenance
• Apply and enhance excellent consulting, business analysis, and communications skills to quickly identify problems, analyze challenges, and recommend solutions to our team and our clients
• Join our consulting practice to support projects and company growth initiatives, managing multiple workstreams at one time
• Develop consulting skills and help grow the company outside of your project by participating in new business and strategic initiatives
• Contribute to our company culture, which promotes client-focused teamwork, learning, and helping others to grow and develop

• 10 years of experience working on IT projects utilizing an Agile or similar software engineering lifecycle and tools such as Jira
• Experience supporting and testing cloud-based technology stacks (e.g. AWS, Java, Postgres database, web services, XML, Soap UI, JMeter)
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure, native services, and hosting services
• Capabilities in network support, providing the client guidance on network approaches and improvements, understanding network architecture, and testing network connections with external stakeholders
• Experience supporting external vendors and stakeholders to respond to requests and troubleshoot complex issues
• Proven to be flexible and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and complex work environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Outstanding written and oral communication and collaboration skills and strong leadership potential
• Excellent attention to detail in creating compelling presentations and decision documents to help clients make critical decisions about the future of their organization
• Desire to join a consulting firm and learn business concepts; loves to collaborate and reach out to get involved in company events, offerings, and special projects
• Clearance: US Citizenship only (no dual citizenship)
• Education: At least a bachelor's degree
• Critical Skills: Entrepreneurial spirit, strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and interest in working in a fast-growth consulting firm. Interest in working on assignments outside of one project is strongly desired
