IT Quality Assurance Manager manages a group of quality assurance analysts who evaluate, test, and validate software and/or IT services. Develops and implements quality assurance problem reporting processes and systems. Being an IT Quality Assurance Manager analyzes deficiencies in service or performance and recommends product or service improvements to address problems. Designs and implements defect reduction programs. Additionally, IT Quality Assurance Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to head of a unit/department.     • Design, implement, and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Ensure adherence to established quality policies, procedures, and documentation standards.
    • Conduct routine inspections, audits, and reviews of processes, documentation, and facilities to identify non-compliance issues.
    • Analyze quality data and compliance metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and drive initiatives to enhance overall quality and efficiency.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and quality initiatives aimed at enhancing compliance, overall facility effectiveness and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities, including inspection reports, audit findings, and corrective actions plans.
    • Prepare and present regular reports on quality performance, trends, and compliance status to management.
    • Ensure documentation is complete, organized, and readily accessible for internal audits, regulatory inspections, and reporting purposes.

     

    Compliance Risk Assessment and Mitigation

    • Stay abreast of relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines applicable to the organization's products/services.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitate audits or inspections by regulatory agencies or external auditors.
    • Perform risk assessments to identify potential compliance risks and vulnerabilities.
    • Develop risk mitigation strategies and controls to minimize compliance-related issues and ensure product and process integrity.
    • Monitor regulatory requirements, standards, and guidelines relevant to the organization's industry.
    • Interpret and communicate regulatory requirements to internal stakeholders to ensure adherence.
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of applicable regulations, such as FDA regulations, ISO standards, or industry-specific guidelines.
    • Act as program administrator for OSHA compliant Respiratory Protection Plan, Hazard Communication Plan, Bloodborne Pathogen Plan.
    • Conduct regular hazard assessments, evaluate risks and make recommendations for prevention.
    • Update SDS binder and evaluate onsite chemicals to off set with safer products.
    • Oversee worksite safety committee, organize regular meetings, act as custodian of training records and lead all staff safety meetings and trainings.
    • Communicate with local EMS and manage on site safety and security vendors including video surveillance monitoring company and patrolman vendors.
    • Complies with and understands company operations, policies and procedures.
    • Perform other related work as required.

      • Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance requirements, quality standards, and best practices.
      • Promote awareness of compliance principles and facilitate ongoing education to maintain a compliant workforce.
      • Work with Workplace Safety and Security Team Lead to schedule and conduct emergency preparedness meetings, incident training and evacuation drills.
