  • This role is responsible for developing and executing Sensata’s global investor relations strategy and program in collaboration with the CFO. This role will accurately reflect the company’s strategic value proposition and enable the most effective two-way communication between the company, the financial community, and other stakeholders, which will ultimately contribute to achieving fair valuation for Sensata’s securities. This role will work closely with the CEO, CFO and other members of the executive leadership team and will serve as the primary corporate spokesperson and relationship manager for the investment community, as well as financial media stakeholders. This role will act as a thought partner to the leadership team to effectively position the company with investors and priority stakeholders to enhance the company’s reputation and mitigate various risks. In addition, this role will provide insight, feedback, and coaching to the leadership team with regards to investor perceptions and expectations. This role will report directly to the CFO. Leads the global investor relations program, including strategy (linked to the company’s strategy), operating plan, budget, and the detailed execution of the IR operating plan. Provides insight, feedback, and coaching to the leadership team with regards to investor perceptions and expectations. Works collaboratively with the Board of Directors and corporate leadership to drive ESG strategy and reporting for the Company. Collaborates on company decisions that will create or destroy value for shareholders and/or affect the company’s reputation. Leads the collection, analysis, and presentation of feedback to the company of investors’ perceptions and opinions, brokerage security analysts’ positions and summaries, relative stock price movements, and periodic ownership analysis. The analysis is provided and presented to the senior leaders and the Board of Directors in written and oral form. Collaborates with Public Relations, Advertising, Brand Management, Marketing, and Internal Communication on communication-and-media strategy, operating plan, key messages, integration and consistency of messages and efforts, product sharing, and support to operating employees for strategic communication. Speaks on behalf of the company at investment presentations, institutions, individual meetings and discussions, and with the media. Develops and maintains strong relationships of trust and respect with analysts and investors and responds to external requests for financial and strategic information in an accurate, appropriate and timely manner. Finds, supports, and encourages prospective investors by broadening awareness and interest through conferences, presentations, meetings, media, and mailings. Leads the creation of the publications and electronic media used in the IR program. Quarterly and Annual reporting: lead theme, content, design, production, and delivery in collaboration with Legal and HR. Maintains Sensata’s Investor Relations website and manage relationships with 3rd party vendors. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred; Master’s degree highly desirable At least 15 years of working experience, with ten years of experience in investor relations, finance, marketing, planning and development, or corporate communication positions for a public company or a consulting agency. Outstanding financial and investment analysis skills, oral and written communication skills, and presentation ability. Broad understanding of the investment landscape, as well as the strategic ability to create a compelling investment narrative. An in-depth understanding of the financial and investment markets and the ability to establish new relationships in new industries quickly.
