SUMMARY
The Investment Operations Specialist is responsible for providing support to the Investment team in all aspects of operations, including back-office functions, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will be highly organized and detail-oriented, possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be able to work both independently and collaboratively.
The Investment Operations Specialist is expected to be able to work with a wide range of stakeholders and external partners to ensure efficient operations. They should have the ability to interpret and understand regulations and communicate any changes to the Investment team. The role also requires the ability to develop and maintain tracking systems and procedures to ensure accuracy and quality in all tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Investment Operations
· Monitor and analyze portfolio composition, performance, and risk.
· Assist in setting up new accounts and portfolios.
· Prepare reports for the Investment team.
· Manage and process transactions, including allocations, distributions, and trades.
· Liaise with custodians, brokers, and other external partners.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
· Develop and maintain operational processes and procedures.
· Provide administrative support as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field
· 1 years of experience in investment operations
· Knowledge of the investment industry and financial markets
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail
· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other financial software
