Insight Investment are seeking an Investment Analyst to join the Secured Finance Team, based in New York. The successful individual will assist members of the team with credit analysis of structured credit instruments, with a particular focus on non-agency US RMBS.
Role Responsibilities
•Modelling and evaluating investment opportunities for the team.
•Presenting findings to assist senior members of the team in making investment decisions.
•Model new securities within our internal Portfolio Management system.
•Produce daily spread and new issue reports to keep Portfolio Managers informed of market conditions.
•Analysing investments and following markets daily. Communicate with sell-side counterparties to collect information pertinent to the team.
•Assist with ad-hoc requests for marketing presentations
Experience Required
•Strong interest in Financial Markets.
•Investment analysis experience, with a background in structured finance; experience with non-agency US RMBS preferred.
•Experience in computer programming (Python, R Statistical Language, VBA).
•Bachelor's degree.
•Concentration in Finance, Economics or Mathematics background.
•Execution and detail oriented whilst working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
•Progression towards earning the CFA would be viewed advantageous.
•Highly quantitative.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Under New York City pay transparency law we are required to indicate the base salary range for this role of USD 110,000 to 130,000. Any offer of employment will be made based upon the specific skills and experience of the selected candidate and the base salary offered could be higher or lower than indicated.
