The Inventory Controller conducts daily inventory analysis to solve inventory problems. Ensures adequate inventory of materials and products in accordance with inventory cycles and organizational philosophy. Being an Inventory Controller trains and manages a team of inventory control staff. Develops and implements inventory control procedures. In addition, Inventory Controller requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Inventory Controller manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
One year of ordering, purchasing, inventory control and/or general accounting required. Must have demonstrated an ability to function under short time frames, correspond and negotiate with others clearly; demonstrate self-motivation and capable of managing multiple priorities. Must have knowledge and possess computer skills including use of standard office software. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
