The Internal Auditor assists with audit planning, testing, and reporting throughout the course of the prescribed audit plan. Additionally, the Internal Auditor will assist with special projects and departmental continuous improvement initiatives.
Major Responsibilities:
Participate in audit plan execution and evaluation of internal controls by:
Scheduling and documenting process walkthroughs with process owners.
Evaluating information, documentation, and data to determine compliance with policies and procedures and adequacy of internal controls.
Documenting the testing and results of audit procedures.
Drafting Internal Audit requests and deliverables.
Assist with departmental continuous improvement opportunities, projects, and other ad hoc requests. Provide support to management on special projects.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or other relevant business discipline
Previous work experience, including internship, in audit, accounting, or corporate finance
Preferred Job Requirements:
Masters in Business Administration (MBA)
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or other relevant professional certification.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion, the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Up to 15% travel and valid Driver’s License required.
