We are working with an established international Am Law firm headquartered in Chicago that has an immediate need for an intellectual property litigation/prosecution lawyer (2 yrs) to join its innovative practice as an associate. This thriving practice has an international reach and represents clients in patent, trademark, copyright and technology matters. This is a unique opportunity to truly be an all-around IP attorney, handling patent and trademark prosecution matters, as well as IP litigation ranging from patent infringement cases in federal court to trademark challenges in the TTAB.

Responsibilities:
· Represent clients in patent, trademark and copyright matters
· Assist in representing clients in IP litigation and prosecution matters
· Assist in representing clients in courts nationwide, as well as before federal agencies including the USPTO and the U.S. International Trade Commission
Required Qualifications:
· 2 or more years of IP litigation and prosecution experience, particularly with trademark and patent matters
· Experience drafting patent applications
· A degree in electrical engineering
· Must be admitted to the USPTO or be in the process of becoming admitted
