Being an Instructor - Rehabilitation provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Rehabilitation typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. NovaCare Rehabilitation in Canton, OH is seeking a Part time certified Group Yoga Exercise Instructor for our outpatient rehabilitation center. This is an excellent opportunity to serve our community by enriching their wellness tools through yoga and related holistic techniques. Most members have received outpatient therapy from our onsite clinical team and desire to add a holistic fitness regimen to improve their quality of life. Previous experience is a PLUS, but not required. You must possess an active certification in yoga to be considered. Most common credentials include, Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), Certified Yoga Teacher (CYT) or related yoga teaching certification.
This is a Part time position that may include mornings and evenings based on our members needs. Your enthusiasm and expertise in motivating individuals to reach their goals is most important.
