Dispenser Installation Specialists is looking to grow our Houston region by hiring hardworking and responsible employees who can represent our company in a professional manner. What We Do
Our company is contracted to replace a variety of dispensers including, but not limited to, paper towel, soap, hand sanitizer, toilet paper and chemical commercial cleaning. Our crews range from 2-5 installers based on the size of the job and time needed to complete. Hard work is recognized and rewarded. All necessary tools are provided by the company. Installations are not complicated nor strenuous but quality is of the utmost importance.
Schedule
Our normal working hours are 8am - 5pm but may vary based on the facility where we are working. Hours will vary week to week but the work is consistent. Overtime is available often but typical work week is 40 hours. Hours may be less on a given week based on the jobs scheduled but employees are scheduled to handle a full 40 hours each week. Work on weekends is extremely rare. Availability must be flexible as schedule changes each week based on jobs.
Travel
Travel is a requirement of the job but is normally one to two weeks at a time with the ability to be home almost every weekend of the year. On average travel is around 50% of the workload. While out of town, hotels and meals are paid for by the company, as well as drive time, up to 8 hours a day. If an employee is out of town over a weekend and not working, then they receive a $100 bonus on the check following that weekend. A company vehicle is also used for out of town travel but reliable transportation is needed for local jobs. Installers will meet at job site for local jobs.
Pay and Benefits
-Pay starts at $19-21 per hour based on experience. There is always room for development and promotions. Our company offers a lead installer in training program for those looking to advance. Pay raises are based on performance.
- 10 paid company holidays per year.
-Medical insurance is offered and the employee only portion is paid 50%
-Dental and Vision are also offered after 90 days but are paid for by employee.
-Career advancement is a priority and leaders are promoted from within. There is no length of employment required to be eligible for promotion.
-One week of vacation time is awarded after one year of service or promotion to Lead Installer.
Duties
- Report to a Installation Supervisor that will assist you during your 90 day training period
- Working independently and with team members
- Responsible for the tasks associated with the removal and replacement of dispensers
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment
- Operate and maintain various small hand/power tools
- Communicate professionally and effectively with team members and customers
- Evaluate work areas and conditions for installation adhering to OSHA and industry safety standards
- Review, anticipate and prepare for each job (tools, equipment and materials)
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License is a must have
- Reliable transportation for local jobs
- Maintain punctual, regular and consistent attendance
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. to load and push a flat cart
- Successfully pass a criminal background check
- Ability to read a tape measure and drawing diagrams
- High school diploma or equivalent required
