We are seeking a Manager - Inside Sales to serve as a senior expert in tendering and pursuits. You'll join our ANZ Bids and Proposals Team (Inside Sales Team) and focus on proposal management, bid preparation, and pursuit strategies. In this dynamic role, you’ll collaborate with a talented team of engineers, consultants, construction professionals, and innovators, both locally and globally. What you’ll do
Develop complex, winning bids and strategies that set Worley apart in a competitive bidding landscape.
Collaborate seamlessly with teams across various offices and business lines during proposal development.
Lead high-value strategic bids, including joint ventures and major multi-disciplinary project tenders.
Work with cross-functional teams on strategic planning to effectively position us for targeted opportunities.
What you’ll have
Experience managing complex bids, including strategy and positioning for a global tier 1 engineering firm.
A background in tendering for professional services, preferably in engineering or technical consulting.
Experience in securing joint ventures and major multi-disciplinary project tenders is preferred.
Highly organised, driven, enthusiastic, and open-minded in crafting winning bids and proposals.
Strategic thinker who aligns proposal content with Worley’s objectives while exceeding customer expectations.
Skilled in stakeholder management, building strong relationships with senior management and peers, both locally and remotely.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong foundational knowledge of commercial, contractual, and execution models and associated risks.
Detail-oriented and able to manage pressure while juggling multiple tasks to meet strict deadlines.
Proficient in technology, with solid knowledge of MS Office applications.
