Human Resources Director plans and oversees human resources functional operations, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, safety, and compliance. Administers human resources programs and policies to reflect the organization's mission and values, support company goals, achieve objectives, and positively engage the workforce. Being a Human Resources Director maintains broad and current subject matter knowledge and expertise in federal and state employment laws to advise leadership with solutions for human resources issues and evolving organizational needs. Implements an HRIS or other system to facilitate processes and provide data and reporting on HR activity. Additionally, Human Resources Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Human Resources Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Human Resources Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     On behalf of our customer, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our leadership team as the Director, Human Resources. This individual will play a crucial role in supporting the CEO and CFO in various strategic functions, with a focus on human resources, talent acquisition and retention.

    Responsibilities:

    Strategic HR Leadership:

    • Develop and implement human resource strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives.
    • Oversee talent acquisition, employee development, and retention initiatives, focusing on management and engineering roles.
    • Collaborate with department heads to create and maintain a positive work culture and employee engagement.


    Executive Support:

    • Act as a key liaison between the CEO & CFO and various internal and external stakeholders.
    • Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials for executive meetings.


    Project Management:

    • Lead and coordinate special projects as assigned by the CEO, ensuring successful implementation.
    • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to achieve desired outcomes.


    Communication and Collaboration:

    • Foster effective communication channels within the organization.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive alignment on key initiatives.
    • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.


    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Current SPHR/PHR certification.
    • Minimum 5-7 years experience in Human Resources, with a minimum of two years experience at the HR Manager level.
    • Proven experience in strategic human resources management.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels.
    • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data-driven insights for decision-making.
    • Fluent in legal compliance requirements.
    • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
