We are seeking a dynamic
Manager, People Operations to lead key initiatives in compensation, HR systems, and overall HR operations. This role will work closely with senior management to ensure that our business staff compensation programs and HR systems are optimized, competitive, and aligned with internal and external best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation Management:
- Provide consultation and guidance on compensation strategies based on internal equity and external market trends.
- Lead the development and administration of business staff compensation programs, including base pay, variable pay, and recognition schemes.
- Conduct market research and analysis to maintain competitive compensation practices and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Oversee salary adjustments, job evaluations, and performance-based compensation reviews.
- Develop and maintain job descriptions, classifications, and compensation guidelines to ensure fairness across the organization.
- Lead the annual compensation planning cycle and make strategic recommendations to senior management.
HR Systems & Analytics
- Optimize the firm’s HRIS for improved efficiencies in workflows and processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring all HR systems are configured to meet business needs.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure high-quality services and support for HR systems.
- Analyze HR data, track key metrics such as staffing and retention, and present findings to stakeholders to inform business decisions.
- Ensure data integrity through regular audits and report generation.
- Stay up to date on trends in HR technology, analytics, and data science.
People Operations
- Assess and improve the efficiency of people operations processes, identifying areas for improvement.
- Manage workload distribution, support systems, and reporting relationships within the People Operations team.
- Drive the implementation of process and policy changes to improve overall HR service delivery.
Other Duties
- Support bespoke data analysis projects and maintain employee records.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5-10 years of experience in compensation administration.
- 3-5 years of experience managing HRIS systems.
- Strong knowledge of market pricing, job benchmarking, and compensation strategies.
- Advanced Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables).
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Experience with cloud-based HR systems is a plus.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification is a plus.
