Our HR Consulting Division is seeking experienced Part-Time HR Consultants to deliver exceptional service to our clients located in and around the Rochester, NY area.
The ideal candidates for these opportunities have a minimum of 5 years of strong Generalist experience, independently managing all aspects of Human Resources including but not limited to benefits and leave administration, performance management, training and development, workers' compensation and safety, recruitment, onboarding and orientation, engagement and retention, employee relations, investigations, and HR compliance.
Payroll administration is preferred but is not required. As an HR Consultant with HR Works, your knowledge and experience in the profession is valued , allowing you to make impactful contributions while maintaining a strong work / life balance .
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE : Current knowledge of State and Federal employment law, including experience with practical application and interpretation of Strong analytical skills including the ability to research, analyze and make recommendations.
Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills. Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills Flexibility, adaptability and a readiness to jump in and contribute.
Strong computer skills : Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS and / or payroll system(s) experience preferred. Availability during typical business hours, Monday - Friday.
PHR / SHRM-CP Certification or other related certifications desired (i.e. CEBS, CCP). The ability and desire to work part-time hours (8-32 hours).
The ability to work onsite. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION At least five (5) years progressive HR Generalist or HR Manager experience is required.
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business or related field, or associate degree with commensurate experience required.
