Hot Oil Unit Operator jobs in Providence, RI
Hot Oil Unit Operator operates machinery used for proper breakdown of wax, paraffin and other buildup in hot oil units. Responsible for proper handling of hot oil truck and all other tools or machinery. Being a Hot Oil Unit Operator may be responsible for training new employees and ensuring that personnel is properly adhering to safety precautions. May perform administrative duties as necessary. Additionally, Hot Oil Unit Operator requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Hot Oil Unit Operator works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. • Have a positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality and the ability to be a team player.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a high sense of urgency/energy.
• Possess the desire and ability to learn, as well as demonstrate personal responsibility.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Have full body mobility and be able to twist, turn, bend at the waist, squat and go up and down stairs.
