SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for achieving supply expense management initiatives, improving quality and patient outcomes by identifying opportunities related to product price, standardization, and utilization within Penn State Health and subsidiaries. Position will initiate and assist Penn State Health and subsidiaries in the selection, evaluation, monitoring, cost analysis and implementation of services and processes. Responsible for the removal of redundancy as well as researching clinical evidence tied to products and processes within Penn State Health and subsidiaries.
The individual will work collaboratively with physicians, clinicians, health system leadership, vendors and other key leaders and stakeholders at Penn State Health.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
- Bachelors degree
- Minimum five (5) years of related experience required
- Previous clinical experience required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
- Previous experience as a skilled facilitator is preferred
- RN / BSN preferred
- Lean certified; Kaizen event leader, green belt, or black belt preferred
