Health and Safety Administrator is responsible for identifying hazardous workplace conditions. Takes samples and measurements of hazardous materials, and coordinates the removal of physical, biological and chemical hazards. Being a Health and Safety Administrator trains employees on safety, company policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to employee safety. Ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state health and safety regulations and ensures necessary records are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines. Additionally, Health and Safety Administrator participates in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) inspections, providing inspectors with appropriate documents and identifying safety measures. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor. To be a Health and Safety Administrator typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Kee Safety is a global provider of the highest level of safety solutions and products for every industry. The position of HSEF Coordinator interacts with all personnel at the Kee Safety Buffalo facility, the General Manager’s and/or Safety Leads of other North American Business Units (BU’s), and the North America HSE Manager. This position will accurately process paperwork, implement and spearhead new programs/initiatives, maintain up to date and organized records, accomplish physical tasks, and problem solve issues related to the objectives of the Health, Safety, Environmental, and Facilities plan for the Kee Safety, Buffalo, NY site. This individual will be the point of contact for most contractors pertaining to the Buffalo facility. The position will also require some minor facility maintenance duties and responsibilities.
