Overview
Almost Home is Findlay's Favorite Childcare Center of 2024. We pride ourselves on our clean and inviting environments for children. We are seeking a dedicated Head Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an organized and efficient, self-starter that cares about the health and safety of young children. This position is Monday - Friday from 9am to 2pm.
Responsibilities
- Collect, process and deliver breakfast and lunch dishes through an under-counter, high heat commercial dishwasher.
- Collect, wash, dry, fold, and deliver crib sheets, bibs, towels and other linens used in the child care setting.
- Sweep, mop, dust and glass clean in common areas.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Assist with post lunch clean up in our young toddler room daily. Other duties that contribute to the cleanliness and safety of the childcare setting.
Skills
- Cleaning/housekeeping experience
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and custodial practices

- Good communication and interpersonal abilities with adults and children
All candidates MUST be at least 18 years of age, hold a High School diploma or GED and pass a complete background check.
