Grant Writer jobs in West Virginia

Monongalia County Health Department is currently accepting resumes for a Grant Writer. This position will support the financial operations of MCHD Business Office by facilitating the accurate, complete and timely submission of grant and contractual application packages. This position will require continuous monitoring of a variety of sources for grant and contractual opportunities, as well as a thorough review and communication of eligibility and submission requirements to program and financial staff.

Qualifications include:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Business, English, Marketing, etc. Preferred.
• Two years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in grant or professional writing preferred.
• College hours, related business school, or vocational training may be substituted through an established formula for the requested experience.
