Glass Cutter/Finisher operates automatic equipment that burns, scores, and breaks continuous sheets of glass into specific lengths. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being a Glass Cutter/Finisher may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Glass Cutter/Finisher relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience - with storefronts, curtainwalls, glass and glazing - residential and commercial experience preferred - construction, and proficiency in using power tools and reading blueprints.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install various systems using power tools
- Perform frame and glass installation work according to specifications
- Execute construction tasks as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate installations
- Accurately measure and document jobs for service/residential and commercial installationQualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a glazier is essential
- Proficiency in using power tools and equipment
- Strong knowledge of glazing and installation techniques
