COMPANY OVERVIEW: Eagle Beverage is an SQF certified, fast growing specialty beverage manufacturer in Kent, WA, focusing on private label syrups, cocktail mixers and powders.

GENERAL SCOPE: The Food Production role is a hands-on role which participates in the production of our beverage and powders products. They organize production workflow under the direction of the Production Manager and in alignment with the Company’s safety policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assist with room and machine set up to ensure efficient and on-time starts.

· Assist in the transfer of raw material, help move prepared materials between locations

· Operate equipment as directed

· Clean equipment, machine, and work area, removing all waste materials to designated areas

· Have a working knowledge of all jobs in area of responsibility and be able to step in to run equipment/machine to fill in for employee absences.

· Communicate production, quality or safety issues that require Supervisor level authority or above, or that have created 5 minutes of downtime, to expedite a solution.

· Perform regular cycle counts of ingredients, packaging materials, and finished goods.

· Any other duties as assigned by Production Manager.

EDUCATION AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Experience in food manufacturing environment with SQF or AIB certification.

2. Strong verbal communication and attention to detail.

3. Comprehend English

4. Ability to lift 50 lbs.

5. Ability to do basic mathematics (addition/subtraction)

6. Follow safety standards and regulations

7. Demonstrates commitment to quality and cleanliness standards

8. Must be able to stand for entire shift with periodic bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting throughout the day

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

· Able to work under limited supervision.

· Comfort with taking direction and constructive coaching.

· Authorized to work in the US.

Availability: This position is available for immediate hire.

Daily shift can run between 10am to 8:30pm depending on the production schedule
