Key responsibilities:
• Provide outstanding flight instruction and mentoring to students, renters and customers
of Thrust Flight
• Promote and market Thrust Flight products and services to those you meet both at
work and in your daily life
• Adhere to Thrust Flight policies and operating procedures as well as all state, local and
federal laws and regulations
• Coordinate with dispatchers and other instructors to ensure safe and efficient
operations and to exceed customer expectations
• Coordinate with dispatchers to establish a standard schedule of availability
• Other projects and duties as opportunities arise
This is considered a full-time employee position with varying schedules comprising an
approximate 40-hour week.
Compensation is competitive with the industry and will be discussed in an interview.
Hours are TBD. Once set, employees are expected to be available during those scheduled
hours on a consistent basis and be on site at least 15 minutes prior to any scheduled session.
Flight instructors report to the Chief Pilot and Assistant Chief Pilots.
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
Please note: Our training fleet includes PA-28-181, PA-44-180, and CE-172S aircraft. Applicants must meet FAR & manufacturer’s legal weight and balance limitations for listed aircraft types including applicant, 250 lb. student pilot, and 4 hours of fuel.
